The process of development consist of several steps required to take your vision and make it into a tangible design.
Once development is complete you are ready for the production phase.
Development Process:
1. Ideation, Design & Plan
Book a 1st time consultation or concept design meeting. We will discuss your brand, your ideas & budget. Then we will create a personalized plan & timeline that fit your project needs. If ready to get started with a full development project, we will go over specs, sizes, sourcing needs & all design specifications in order to proceed to the next step.
2. Material Sourcing
Once we have a clear vision of your project needs. We will begin the sourcing process, our team will help source the best wholesale materials and fabrics. This includes textiles, notions, hardware & more. All material finding will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding to sew samples.
3. Pattern Making
Our in-house pattern maker will create the blueprint for your product. If necessary, the pattern maker can grade your designs to create standardized sizes for your product. Patterns are drafted and digitized using PAD software and provided to each client, to use as they please.
4. Sample Making
Our experienced Sample Makers cut and sew your garments by hand to give you your first look at your design. Once the perfect sew sample is made, your are ready for production. We will then finalize your pattern, grade your sizes and create a marker based on your fabric width. Your sew sample will then be ready to hand over to the production team.
5. Fittings/ Adjustments
If your design requires additional pattern and sewing edits after your first fitting, we will need to continue the development process until we achieve the perfect design. If no alterations are necessary, you will approve the sample and we can move into the steps of production. All additional development needs will fall into the Al Carte pricing category.
6. Pre-Production
The development stage will conclude by finalizing your purchase order, cut ticket, materials needs, quantities labeling & packaging needs. Our production cutting and sewing team will take over from there!
A la Carte Development Services:
Deposit to Start any A la Cart Project - $150
Sample Sewing - $65/hr ($150 required to start a project, 30min increments thereafter)
Pattern Making - $85/hr ($150 deposit required to start a project, 30min increments thereafter)
Markers/ Grading/ Digitizing - $80/hr ($150 deposit required to start a project, 30min increments thereafter)
Sample Cutting - $50/hr
Material Sourcing Fee - $500 to start project | $150/hr thereafter
Fittings - $150/hr
Conceptual Design Meetings - $150/hr
Consulting Meetings - $150/hr
Project Managing - $150-$250/hr
Pattern Printing - $15.00 per style / $20.00 per size
Marker Printing - $10.00 per yard
Exporting & Opening files (dxf, Gerber | We use PAD system) - $20.00 each
Full development Packages - ($1,500 - $2,500+) per design (more info below)
