Rebecca Cahua is a native San Francisco Bay Area resident best known as a philanthropist and community leader having received a proclamation and numerous recognitions for her work with San Francisco’s homeless community through her non profit “Designing A Difference.” Which is where the idea of opening up D.A.D Sewing House originated. She is also a Fashion Designer and sole owner of a domestic sewing contractor. Having received her Bachelors in Design and Merchandising and her Masters in Consumer Sciences from SFSU. As founder of the non profit and business her mission is to create local employment opportunity in the domestic apparel manufacturing industry in efforts of helping employ those in need while simultaneously supporting the growth in the local apparel industry.
